   newbish !question: are programs compiled from gits updatable through synaptic? i'm assuming no, but i figured i'd ask. !ubuntu !linux

     @e2jk you wouldn't by any chance know how to build/compile/whatever something from gitorious, would ya?

     @jephrei Sorry, I've never used Gitorious. But I suppose: 1) get sources 2) run "make" and 3) run "make install". Otherwise read README file
