   !XMPP question: can server-to-server addressing work with raw IP address + port? eg. if server in NAT'd home with port opened (but no dns)

     @danbri IP addresses will usually work, but only on the standard 5222/5269 ports

     @danbri not really, unless you want your addresses to be @<ip-address>. also some s2s impls might not be able to resolve a raw ip address
