So do I suck it up and power through 476 unread items in Google Reader, or just mark all as read?

jaiku @kshep have you been attacked by PHP's rococo encoding guesswork?

@kevinmarks Somewhere in the bridge process either my code or a library I'm using isn't handling things correctly.

@kevinmarks Close. The bridge is in perl. I guess maybe I'm not using the Net::Twitter::Bridge::Umlaut::Convert CPAN module correctly.

friendfeed @kshep just let the unread items hit 1000 in reader, then it stops counting and you can relax again

socialthing @kshep oh, perl. You're on your own then TMTOWTFUBAR isn't what you need when encoding is concerned.

@kshep I like you even more that I know you're using Perl for the bridge ;)
