@mairin it's my pleasure. I've planned a post to sum up UI and community changes coming to !fedora 14 in #Chinese on @linuxtoy and !fedoraZh
-
@mairin as a non-web designer, i am just ask if it would be better to compress various download options into one interactive page. ;-)
-
@mairin oh, that means multi-tab! sorry for my lameness ;-p
-
@lovenemesis oh, forgot to say, I'm on #rawhide :) gedit-2.31.5-1.fc14.i686
-
@mairin hmm, would there be a place for individual CHECKSUM download? it doesn't seem to be easy to find right now.
-
@lovenemesis hehe.If there were many ppl running #rawhide, some stochastic mechanism could be used to discover regressions #bugzilla !fedora
-
@mairin yes, but not easy. A post-download-link splah would be the best choice. But side-by-side with ISO is an acceptable quick fix I think
-
@mairin well, IMO maybe that's another issue, exposing info to ppl who might not aware that direct http could generate corrupted file.
-
@mairin absolutely it's not time for CHECKSUM 101. What I saying is making it a bit easier for ppl who already have this good habit. ;-)
-
@mairin Maybe a link to a checksum page somewhere close to the download button. It could even be a text file with all the checksums
-
@mairin i didn't mean a BIG checksum download button as the iso one. A non-staring side by side link would be enough IMO. ;-)
-
@mairin sounds nice, but would it involve a lot of work? I am pretty new to #JavaScript world. ;-p
-
@mairin if you the #JavaScript expert say so, can we make it a temporarily solution until the post-download splash came to life? ;-)
-
@mairin well, that's already on table. ;-)
-
@lovenemesis thanks :). also working on getting our Chinese fedoracommunity.org registered. hope this could be resolved soon. /cc: @mairin
-
@gbraad great! I have been searching that. Let me if I can help. ;-)
-
@lovenemesis first focus on your graduation. but soon we have to make a overview of todo's for #fedorazh with @mchua and the ambassadors
