   anybody's playing with #nouveau in !kubuntu !linux? any #3d working? esp. how well (if at all) are the #kwin effects in !kde supported?..

     @rysiek Except for Invert, I have KWin compositing working in Debian. I had to compile a libre kernel to get nouveau to work. It was easy.

     @rysiek Is that a new KDE 4.5 option? I don't see it in mine. Also, if you have that new nVidia CUDA, nouveau won't work for it.

     @handheldcar nah, an old GF7600. seems like Gallium3d should work AOK on it
