Anybody have thoughts on fluoride for children? I'm leaning towards no. The benefits do not seem to outweigh the risks...

@uncryptic: I'm not a fan of fluoride treatments. There's already fluoride in the water. Some dental insurance won't even cover it.

@snapl yeah, we don't have it in our water. The idea of putting things in the water is somewhat offputting too, though!

@snapl only water that comes from a well will have fluoride added to it. here in chicago we get lake michigan water and fluoride isn't added

@uncryptic: I do agree with you about the straight answers. I think most people would prefer a straight answer rather than waffling.
