   Sadly, I removed #KDE 4.5 after a day of usage :( It's still too slow, too complex and crowded and has too many annoyances. !KDE !Kubuntu

     @amiroff perhaps it is just Kubuntu's (broken and buggy) version of KDE. Was this your first KDE 4 experience?

     @ddevine: Kubuntu packages may be reason for crashes, but I tried every KDE 4.x release and still see the same annoyances and sluggishness.

     @amiroff Is working fine with other distros. I tried the suse-based CDLive and everything was ok. If you're using XRender can be slow.
