hello i(n)denti.ca, how are you today?
-
@binarylife too warm and you?
-
@bugabundo it was more of a spelling error, i've been on here for almost a year, i know what it's called :) liked the magazine story though
-
@xsteadfastx a bit cooled down in London. I'm trying to swap peppermint tea for coffee today. it'll be a tough day...
-
@bugabundo might it not be an idea to contact bugmenot and ask them to block us? http://is.gd/EwZf like this http://is.gd/Ex1U
-
@bugabundo - help me out a minute. I have NO MENU in Gwibber, or Pidgin!!! Something is strange here
-
@bugabundo - after copying hidden files to home/ben/HIDDEN, traced to /home/ben/.gconf/apps/gnome_settings_daemon xml file. Deleted.
-
@bugabundo What do you think we should do? Block the user? I don't see why -- it hasn't been abused yet.
-
@bugabundo Sorry to hear Synapse didn't work for you. What was the problem?
-
@firerabbit @dag good to know. i relly like !synapse s approach, but it's quite difficult to run on fedora and it uses qt ..
-
@fabiand I think someone was working on Fedora packages, I'll look into that. What's wrong with Qt?
-
@firerabbit Nice to hear. If so, i'll also have a look at it. It's just not my personal favorit toolkit :)
-
@fabiand If GTK is your thing, set Qt to use the QGtkStyle theme. You won't be able to tell the difference.
-
@firerabbit Hm maybe looking into adding a native GTK ui :)
-
@firerabbit It's not about what it looks like, but what it actually is. :)
-
@bugabundo OK, I've asked bugmenot.com to block our site. Seems to be done.
-
@evan why would you care about bugmenot.com having some random user on identi.ca?
-
@zedinosaur Meh. One of those things. Hey, speaking of things: how are you doing?
-
@evan could the number of groups a person belongs to be logged with the stats in the sidebar like subscribers/subscriptions please?
-
@evan doing great. I'll be in montreal in july for linux symposium. Things are hoing well for you too I trust?
-
@firerabbit ah, you're actively committing again, nice! is it difficult to find open source C# developers, specifically?
-
@bugabundo Actually I'm going to try out the globalmenu (mac style) - I think it might be good for some applications, but it's very foreign
-
@dag Yes it is. To be honest the future of Synapse may not be C#.
