     @atoponce: !mutt shouldn't be that slow with caching. Maybe you're checking for new mail constantly, and have a lot of folders.

     @brendan then there's the fact that it closes on a regular basis. !mutt just isn't that great a client, unfortunately

     @atoponce: Both those problems have straightforward fixes. !mutt could do better for you than it is.
