@jrick what cool stuff does #uzbl have compare to #vimperator ? I'm waiting for a stable release.
-
@psycojoker it follows the "unix philosophy", so a better question would be "what does it not have?" ;)
-
@jrick oh I see. And does other soft who can work with uzbl exist ? Is it possible to create your own "set of soft to browse the web" ?
-
@psycojoker yes. they list dmenu, zenity, and bash as "optional/recommended" on the !uzbl website
-
@jrick still quite nerd, thx for the info.
-
@jrick I have problems building uzbl on Jaunty. How did you get through?
-
@visionofarun what version of libwebkit are you using?
-
@jrick I am using 1.0.1-4. Here is the compile line -- http://uzbl.pastebin.com/d2debdce8
-
@jrick I dont seem to find libwebkit > 1.1.4 in the Ubuntu repos
-
@visionofarun yeah, you need 1.1.4 or greater
-
@visionofarun well, you're on you own then. I had to find a patch online for the webkit freebsd port for !uzbl
-
@jrick Oh.. :) OK, Thanks mate.
-
@visionofarun no problem :)
-
@visionofarun try taking a look at http://webkitgtk.org/ !uzbl
-
@jrick Thanks again :)
