@arkblitz gnome shell acutally, with raidiance. she had never used a mac, or played with one up close, she just assumed. it felt awesome.
-
@hrhnick did u tell her finally that she was on linux?
-
@hrhnick Lol! Did you offer to install Linux for her?
-
@ddevine shes not ready yet. ill let her play with it on my box for a couple more times :-)
-
@hrhnick u mean she only knows that apple exists and that's it? not even microsoft? anyway.. :P
-
@hrhnick Good idea. Best not to frustrate her. Also explain that it is different from Windows and Mac and where to find/ask for help.
-
@hrhnick: awesome.
-
@hrhnick Don't! You'll offer her a chance to realize Ubuntu fact, then she will change her mind and refuse it!! Lol
-
@hrhnick You need to tell her it was Ubuntu. She doesn't need to go out talking about how awesome Macs are, when she wasn't even using one.
-
@hrhnick @richroast A real-life tribute to how well Ubuntu has aped the Apple desktop and UI :-) Congratulations to Canonical.

@andyc i was actually using gnome-shell, looked nothing like a real mac. jus fluid and intuitive.
