   when my laptop is on docking station, my external monitor shuts off when I close the laptop lid. Anybody know of a fix? !ubuntu !linux

     @jrkemp with !ubuntu using #gnome try system > preferences > power management - but its driver dependent

     @jrkemp if you remove Option "DPMS" from that display in your xorg.conf file, it might fix that problem for you !ubuntu !linux
