Just realized there's one thing I lack on my !Ubuntu machine...video editing software. Any suggestions?

@missionarybroadcasting: avidemux is nice for chopping, encoding, ripping audio, etc... !ubuntu
-
@missionarybroadcasting avidemux, kino, cinelerra are a few I know
-
@missionarybroadcasting Check out Pitivi pre-release: http://digg.com/d1rnNS
-
@missionarybroadcasting !kino
-
@missionarybroadcasting +1 for avidemux
-
@missionarybroadcasting You could try #blender, which I fell in love with again http://ur1.ca/5jkq :) and #pitivi is shaping up well !ubuntu
-
@missionarybroadcasting: done some dv work with kino, and the latest pitivi is shaping up nicely, but still simple functionality.
-
@missionarybroadcasting #avidemux (powerful but not for the faint of heart) #kdenlive (intuitive but not very stable) #pitivi (upstart)
-
@dylanmccall Looking over #blender and will do a search for #pitvi in a moment.
-
@missionarybroadcasting The important thing with #pitivi is it's really the VERY recent versions that have been so encouraging
-
@missionarybroadcasting I've heard well of #avidemux but I never tried it myself. !Ubuntu
