@decodedthought unlogo.org ? :P Maybe not what you want, but it's related ;-)
-
@velmont thanks but basically i have a screencast video in which I actually want to blur certain regions alone. any software for that?
-
@decodedthought #PiTiVi can blur now, but only the full picture AFAIK. So,well, I would try #Cinelerra first, then maybe #Kdenlive
-
@decodedthought No, big project and all files are not correctly lisencetagged for #Debian. http://cinelerra.org/getting_cinelerra.php#ubuntu
-
@decodedthought: OpenShot - Its really good and we're using it here at PMC for some of our editing work. It has a blur effect.
-
@velmont thanks
-
@pmctechblog I used open shot but some how I am unable to blur certain regions of the video ! :(
-
@decodedthought: Are you trying to blur the whole frame or just portions? The first case should be easy, the last may require layering.
-
@pmctechblog just portions
-
@decodedthought kdenlive or OpenShot with two (or more) tracks
-
@mehor thanks
-
@decodedthought LiVES may be used too, but it's a little bit more work: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ISqvkqyvnZM
-
@decodedthought: you can convert a transition (like Circle) to a mask, adjust the threshold and blur a duplicate clip on an adjacent track.
-
@decodedthought: If you want to do something more specific and irregular with your blur, you'll need to do some complicated work elsewhere.
-
@mehor thanks ! :)
