Is there no reply attribute in XMPP? We have id's on messages... why not good reply semantics? Even SMTP has In-Reply-To. #xmpp #jabber

@singpolyma I believe there's a "thread" element that associates a message with a thread. !xmpp

@evan A thread is marks a conversation, but doesn't keep straight what a particular messages is about. Things can still come out of order.

@aneesh it shouldn't replace email invites but be an alternative choice. I don't like typing my email password into 3rd party sites.

@rpcutts yea i too would love the same the google contacts API lets you grab contacts without entering password on 3rd party sites. contd..
