Wow did you guys know there is a !statusnet app for !android http://status.net/android
Sunday, 24-Oct-10 13:03:29 UTC from Spaz at University of Southern California, California, United States-
@mohanpram yea but it ain't great.
-
@mohanpram : yes, and it didn't work on my (rather old) Galaxy 7500 (Android 1.5) :-( I just keep using Mustard.
-
@rpcutts oh yeah. Hmm, so !mustard is better?
-
@charlesschulz yeah I don't think it suppoerts Android 1.5
-
@mohanpram by far. It's early days for the official app to be fair.
-
@mohanpram yes, !mustard is much better. I understand the goodies of Appcelerator: http://cut.gd/aB3m But it's slow, at least for now.
-
@lovenemesis @mohanpram 'Titanium provides native performance' That has to be the most laughable thing I have ever read.
-
@andyc their time may have been better spent making it easier for 3rd party devs to make apps. Better documentation etc. #pontification
-
@rpcutts: yes, with iteration it can only get better.
-
@andyc: @lovenemesis compile once run anywhere...where have I heard that before. ;)
-
@mohanpram Worse. Titanium requires compiling against specific platform. Multiple platform means multiple compiling but with one code base.
-
@lovenemesis damn yeah that is worse
-
@vmj yeah that's what I'm hearing, on my phone the Pre Spaz used to be slow, now it's really good.
