   Can't work out !SELInux - is it something I need on my laptop? I already takes precautions, & use a hard password. !Linux

     That's partly about resource use - concerned for !greencomputing & battery life. !SELinux reputed to use a fair bit of power.

     @appropedia Not really needed imo. Especially if you're the only user using the machine, and you connect to the net from behind a firewall.

     @appropedia selinux might be worthwhile if your laptop must use untrustworthy network connections, but it's really hard to set up.
