      @kwabbles arch is just wonderful for experimenting w/ in VMs and the like, though. under a slack host of course. ; )

      @alistairn yeah I like the whole arch idea, but i can't stomach binary package managers and it seems like "hipster linux"

      @gervais gotta love BSD-style ports though man, slackbuilds are nice for source compilation but ports are a breeze - slack is still king tho
