   so, why do I get a Shiretoko browser when installing firefox 3.5 from !ubuntu synaptic?

     @danilo "Shiretoko" is codename of Firefox 3.5, so Shiretoko _IS_ !Firefox 3.5 ;) (I think the codename is used to avoid confusion)

     @danilo Shiretoko is also a pre-release build. You can check it yourself in the Help > About menu

     @danilo The codename for firefix was shirieco... If you look at the version you are running 3.5b4 not the released version. Look for update

     @danilo ...because it's a Release Candidate, I believe -- based on the version no. The final 3.5 for !ubuntu is about to be built, I hear.
