Is anyone else having trouble subscribing to people in the Identi.ca web interface? I click subscribe and nothing happens. Will report it

@rpcutts It's an odd move for Utd. They need to get him fit consistently, he has a nose for goal but has lost his pace over the years

@dantheman I think he has a lot left to give. FOlk seem to be split 50/50 on it. I reckon he'll still get close to a 1 in 2 ratio.

@rpcutts His finishing ability is not in doubt for me, he will get chances created for him at Utd. I worry about his injury record though

@evan I'm finding when I log in and go to a users page to subscribe to them, nothing happens when I click the button

@evan Only noticed this the last few days. Happens in both Firefox 3.5 and Epiphany browsers. Could it be a an FF3.5 thing?

@evan Same problem for me in Opera, just installed it to try. Not sure what it is. Should I file a bug? I dunno if it's just me or not

@evan #identi.ca needs a "this is spam" button to crowdsource dealing with spammers such as http://identi.ca/babyrita flooding the site.

@ruiseabra Define an "APIROOT" - either http://twitter.com/ or http://identi.ca/api/. It could be ANYWHERE on another Laconica site.

@bugabundo You can't subscribe to remote users from a list. You have to go to their profile page. I just pushed a fix to hide the button.

@evan yeah, I'm going to do something in those lines (but it's an extra input field for users in the settings dialog of #elmdentica) :(

@ruiseabra it's unavoidable. If everyone had "http://api.twitter.com/" as their API root, it'd be the same site.

@ruiseabra: How do you compile #elmdentica? Do you use the Toolchain or do you compile it on the phone?

@sbillaudelle I use the toolchain, built by myself. It takes a loooooooog time to build it for the first time. #elmdentica

@sbillaudelle heh, be careful, current svn differs a lot from last release, and there's some stuff I haven't commit yet

@sbillaudelle I've just commit a crasher fix (post 0.5.0 release). It's an uncommon situation, just don't "select all text and cut" :)
