   Ripping my Pimsleur CDs for transfer to my Android, and wondering how many people still listen to CD contents *on CD*.

     @joanmarie I do at work. But most of the time, it's MP3s. Sometimes I make MP3 CDs for my card as well.

     @djotaku I like having the physical media (CDs, print books). But for me, it's mostly for archival purposes.

     @joanmarie what I like about CDs is the ability to get FLACs. If Amazon, etc sold FLACs I wouldn't buy CDs anymore
