@dandart php is my life, senior.
-
@dandart I of course mean \señor\, not \senior\. oops.
-
@dandart What browser desktop? :)
-
@dcostalis OK. ping me @googlemail.com and I'll show you what we're doing..
-
@kgodwin The one we're making. Codename Project Xenon for now but something else later.
-
@dcostalis Well I won't rush you. This is just a project for now. When you've got time I'd appreciate it.
-
@dandart I'm vaguely interested but I'm not a user of netbooks. Any idea on when you'd have a beta distribution ready?
-
@kgodwin It's not strictly for netbooks. And we hope (if we get enough people) that we'll be almost at alpha by September (conservative).
-
@reinouts When the system is ready. we'll think about doing that. I know KDE 4 has some semantic stuff we could link to.
-
@reinouts I have not got it to work very well in 4.2.2 but I hope it's easier soon. I think there have been plasmoids for net stuff?
-
@dandart You mean Xenon? How is it coming along?
-
@aqeeliz Well, Xenon's only the code name. And slowly, because we need programmers and icon making people!
-
@dandart got the e-mail. Im very interested in seeing how \canvas\ can be used for some of the more advanced things.
-
@dandart For me, I'd rather use Gnome on a powerful desktop. Once you have an alpha I'll look into converting some things to apps for it.
-
@reinouts and midgard!
-
@dcostalis Have not seen that. Sounds nice. How about a HTML5 way of doing PHP without refreshing? AJAX looks a pain.
-
@dandart ajax is NOT a pain if you dont mind using a framework. Even if not, once the ajax code is written, its pretty eay.
-
@dcostalis true.. I'm generally against extra libraries and stuff, but I'm gonna have to learn some XMLHttpRequest-ing
