   How long approx. takes the building and partitioning of a RAID1 with 2x1TB HDDs in !debian ?

     @egon0 I've got a RAID1 on 2x500G SATA. It's been a while, but I don't remember it taking long. Maybe 15 minutes for my setup (using LVM).

     @egon0 the sync takes the most time. at an avg. speed of 100 MByte/s, it will take nearly 3 hours !debian
