    OK, so no. DMs don't show up on your Personal tab. You just have to go over to the Inbox tab every once in a while to see if you have any.

      @kshep I'd prefer not to have an inbox at all, but have the (labeled) merged in my personal stream (on XMPP, too)

      @kshep You have to go to the profile area to send a message but your message I believe should show up in your timeline

      @marjoleink If I used the web UI on a regular basis, I'd probably push for Personal, Replies, Inbox -> a single tab, at least optionally.
