      @jorchube but in !emacs, pressing ALT yields META results and in !kde pressing WIN yields META results

      @nileshgr Or, in Emacs, the Esc key, pressed before the key indicated. (e.g. "M-x" is Esc, X.)

      @nileshgr Yes, the way different apps in X name their keys is very confusing. (I think some apps think the Win key is "Super", not "Meta".)
