@pookito I love it :) I tried to like gwibber, but it felt slow and not polished (nothing against the dev) anyways i'm trying to move to kde
-
@slackusr I knew pidgin does that b/c they don't want to depend on gnome-libs for compatibility (cross-platform) reaons
-
@slackusr I'm sure you know that Pidgin is not GNOME, and doesn't make use of gnome-keyring
-
@cabrey: Gwibber has gnome keyring support for secure password storage, but the keyring APIs are kind of busted in latest GNOME version. :-(

@bruce89 I forgot about gnome-keyring. I don't use gnome that much.
-

-
@binyamin not yet @segphault is the dev and he is, well, developing it ;P see http://u.nu/5s6j and http://u.nu/5t6j
-
@pookito i'll try it, but i'd rather not load all those !kde libs :(
-
@bruce89 Gwibber *does* use gnome-keyring. Well, unless your gnome-keyring is broken like in 2.26
-
@pookito dimelo manito ya bienes pa ka?
-
@gwibber in facelib.py:47 md5 module is deprecated; use hashlib instead ... Segfault (jaunty and gwibber 0.8-0ubuntu5)
-
@gwibber I am using Ubuntu 9.10 Alpha 3 when following the directions for installing themes, they never show up as http://tinyurl.com/cjga5w
-
@gwibber: why is the Launchpad PPA for Jaunty only at 0.9.2? https://launchpad.net/~gwibber-team/+archive/ppa
-
And I yet wish @gwibber already had proxy support as I'm also interested in it's Qaiku support.
