      @zahra python is easier and more powerful than VB, runs on linux, mac and windows. almost every new technology has python binding.

      @zahra I used Gambas to teach VB to a friend of mine. It's very similar to VB (but free s/w). For real, useful learning, Python's awesome.

      @clacke No the answer is #ruby - !python isn't an alternative to #VB because it is much better. Ruby is a dirty ghetto just like VB :P
