@michaeltwofish Yes, you will. If not from Europe, a thesis should become 1-2 journal articles and maybe a few conference papers.

@michaeltwofish I now supervise thesis folk, and one aspect is beating the "it must be great" out of them. It must exist suffices.

@michaeltwofish I'm not saying that "great" is bad, but it happens when it happens. Most theses are forgotten.
