@fabsh - at work (on XP), Outlook fails regularly. Gmail does not. I don't think cloud computing fails. You and Dvorak. Sheesh. ;)

@evan And for me, "the cloud" means using them instead desktop apps for the same purpose. As of right now, that doesn't work.

@rfquerin If your desktop app breaks, you use another machine. If the cloud breaks, you're frakked.

@dantheman: I use my iriver for mobile recording, but we have been known to use a laptop, the xlr-usb works with ubuntu out of the box..

@fabsh - They're just words. Some are funny. Some are offensive. But they're just words. And the standards change all the time.
