OK folks, the new #Lenovo x220's are out. Now do I want with, or without the tablet? Price difference only US $200 or so.
about a year ago from web-
@stickster They look amazing! I'd go for the tablet, should work ace with Gnome 3.
-
@fabsh And they use the new Intel Sandy Bridge processors, so battery life should completely kick butt.
-
I think I'm going for the i7 2620M. After all, I'll need to live with it for 3 years or so.
-
@stickster Haven't heard anything about that yet. I'm jealous now. Please keep us updated on battery stuff if you get one. :)
-
@stickster Whatever happened to the Series 9 idea?
-
@notting Just too expensive for less computer.
-
@notting If I spend ~$1600 for laptop, want some power under hood. Samsung mos def stylish, but probably can't match ThinkPad reliability.
-
@stickster Stop tempting me with new ThinkPad goodness... :-P
-
@stickster Understandable. My only concern about the X220 is "needs more pixels".
-
@notting You mean the higher res screen's possibly a minus due to smaller fonts? Good point. 1366x768 instead of 1280x800, I think.
-
@stickster No, I *want* a 1600x900, or similar, option which they don't have.
