@fabsh I moved to fedora btw http://www.omgubuntu.co.uk/2011/04/from-ubuntu-to-fedora-landing-on-foreign-soil-the-good-the-bad-and-the-ugly/
about a year ago from web-
@seiflotfy Wow! You gotta be kidding me! Oo What brought that on? :)
-
@fabsh read the post. I am staying with it though.
-
@seiflotfy Doing now. I hate BugZilla as well, BTW. It's a piece of shite. git kick's bzr's ass though. :)
-
@seiflotfy I agree on PackageKit but yum has a lots more features than apt-get. Give it some time, it's a rocking package manager. :)
-
@seiflotfy Also, PPAs are handy but really a dirty hack. I rather have the cutting edge in the real repo.
-
@fabsh I am still a newbie in the fedora world. But I am writing a guide on howto overcome the tiny obstacles. But I am loving it so far.
-
@fabsh git is a like a cockpit. POWERFUL once you understand WTF every button and trigger around.
-
@fabsh yum appears a bit slow to me. But maybe its just me. I like the whatprovides feature. THAT IS JUST BADASS
-
@seiflotfy If you need any pointers, feel free to holler at me on here. I'm always trying to help. :)
-
@seiflotfy It is slower than apt-get. But I like the way nicer CLI output and the one-stop update command.
-
@seiflotfy Also: If you find yourself in a spot with slow Internet, deltarpms wipe the floor with what Ubuntu has ATM: :)
