     @klanger: you can try UNetBootin at http://is.gd/oJh1zu try creating a 1gb partition on the drive and specify the path manually.

     @klanger !lo Use the startup disk creator to turn any partition into a live cd boot partition just use chainloader +1 in grub to boot it

     @freegnu I've tried your idea. but it works only for usb-sticks nor sdd :( Thanks for help anyway :)
