    when !ktorrent is running, other aplications can't easily use internet, it seems ktorrent is devouring bandwidth. !kde

      @letssharehopes just limit what it can suck up - eg set decent max up and download speeds, connection limits...

      @letssharehopes then use the throttling options

      @jospoortvliet, download speed is already less than my network's limit, it means i have some unused bandwidth, but other apps can't use it

      @letssharehopes Be careful with the speed upwards. That's what freezes my internet.

      @danielmarti , I'll consider that, thanks...

      @letssharehopes Upload limit matters as much as download limit. If it can't get data out to make requests, it can't expect anything back :)

      @letssharehopes I'm sure you know that setting your upload speed too high will have seriously degrade the performance of all your apps.

      @raindog @losinggeneration , but upload speed is less than network's limit too, it seems !ktorrent reserves bandwidth but can't use it...

      @letssharehopes I haven't experienced that myself, but I hvn't checkd the bug reports lately. For me anything close to 80% of upload is bad

      @johnnybrommie , just like my case, maybe it's a bug, something like reserving bandwidth I guess... !ktorrent
