@bkuhn !LO 204 got me scared about #harmony when @allisonrandal seemed to not grok devs choosing GPL not being just as happy with LGPL.

@fontana, !disturbing: every employer related to Open Source or Free sw seeks to squelch employees' ability to speak out in their community.

@bkuhn: If memory serves, Red Hat is publicly traded. Typically such clearances arise from SEC concerns over potential stock manipulation.

@bkuhn: Canonical is privately held so they don't have to worry about stock price plunges due to a statement taken out of context.

@bkuhn I'm pretty sure @conservancy doesn't "squelch employees' ability to speak out". The Executive Directory makes sure of that. :)

@ossguy, when appointed ED, I was clear w/ Board of Directors I'd continue to speak out on Free Sw issues possibly unrelated to Conservancy.

@fontana AIUI journalist is a title anyone can use, no license required, which is good. What about staff talking at conferences?
