   When pasting a URL with garbage in !Firefox address bar, a search is done on Google. Bad for security as a URL can contain private info.

     @vinc17 Still better than Chrome, where everything you type into the location bar goes to google.

     @vinc17 While I agree that browsers should improve that situation, one should not paste sensitive data, in plain text, into the address bar
