@jabz I also have an issue with 'no non-ASCII characters'; it should be: use your user's language! ...

@jabz ...for half the world ASCII makes things infinitely harder, and URLs harder to remember and type: why we have international domains!

@marjoleink: Everybody should be able to type a URI. Internationalized domains do not-work if you are unfamiliar with the character "hack".

@jabz internationalized domains and URIs DO work for their audience. If you have a Farsi keyboard, a Farsi URL is easier to type than ASCII
