@bavatar the ONLY things on my machines that are allowed automatic updates are anti-virus and maybe firewall. NOTHING else.

@bavatar but Firefox has a setting for that... you need to just turn it off. For many other programs it's not that easy ;)

@marjoleink if the default behavior suddently changes it’s always bad. We fixed it afterwards, still a bad decision to turn it on
