@pseudomorph !choqok all the way.
-
Thanks @rysiek Tis a KDE app and I run gnome, not sure I really need those extra libs loaded. :)
-
@pseudomorph I stick to heybuddy or identicurse. lots of people also use pino
-
@pseudomorph <http://identi.ca/pseudomorph>: I use pidgin for Twitter and identica
pseudomorph likes this. -
@rakotomandimby I was under the impression that twitter no longer supported pidgin, will check it out.
-
@jrobb I do need twitter support so #heybuddy and #ideticurse are out. I've been awaiting #pino 3.0 for a long time.
-
@pseudomorph #identicurse excellent if you are terminal kinda person
-
@pseudomorph I'm trying hotot, pino, turpial and gwibber on !debian !linux
-
@bernat Any of them has different columns for different lists? It's the main missing point I find.
-
@jrfern I guess lists=services so the answer is no. Most handle just one service at a time.
-
@bernat No, not services. I mean "Everybody", "real friends", "this hashtag", "people I spy"... with a column for each.
-
@pseudomorph you asked, I answered. ;)
-
@pseudomorph !heybuddy (on my N900 anyway, but it works on Linux desktop too)
-
♺ @krayon: @pseudomorph !heybuddy (on my N900 anyway, but it works on Linux desktop too)
-
@bernat How do you like them? I think gwibber is a bit too heavy weight. I like pino, but I ubuntu 10.04 doesn't seem to have it :/
-
@jrfern Not that I know of.
-
@throckmortonqdirktwister You'll have to try them, no absolute winner I think. They need to improve.
-
@masse I agree, though all have their ups and lows. Pino is closer to the web experience, hotot looks promising, turpial is in between.
-
@bernat How's your micoblogging client experiment going? I've moved onto turpial, and yet to find one I like. Not tried pino3 yet though.
-
@pseudomorph I think they lack some useful features and simplicity. I keep using the web, I have more information faster and context.
-
@bernat This is my experience. Each has its strengths but each also has limitations that make it hard for me to adopt.
-
@bernat Turpial for instance has reply under a left click and I can't find a list of k/b shortucts.
