    poll: what's your "main" #browser? !chromium? !chrome? !firefox? #iceweasel? #konqueror? #opera? #safari?

      @gotunandan i've tried getting into #midori, but it would always crash on me. have they made it more stable?

      @eightyeight FF4, but occasionally Rekonq.

      @eightyeight not too sure. I dont use it for heavy browsing. Generally use it when starting firefox and chromium with LOTS of tabs is a pain

      @gotunandan i didn't know firebug was capable of surfing the web. this is new to me. how do you do it?

      @eightyeight Lightweight Konqueror implementation, KDE thing. Default in Chakra. I find it quite good. Much like Arora, but less crashy.

      @eightyeight No, I get it from mozilla.debian.net repo.

      @eightyeight #chromium unfortunately sucks on my system (their window management just refuses to work). My only webkit browser is #midori.

      @eightyeight #Firefox 4 with #rekonq on the side.

      @zapadlo ah, yes. that works. figured it was either that or experimental. danke.

      @ralesk what sucks about the window management?

      about a year ago
    • ralesk ralesk

      @eightyeight At this moment, it cannot maximise the #chromium window neither under #kwin nor under #metacity.

      @eightyeight There is a well known browser named IE. Don't just suppose nobody on StatusNet uses it as main browser. Mine is actually Chrome

    • Aaron Toponce Aaron Toponce Mahefa Randimbisoa

      @dotmg good point. simple oversight. but, #identica is largely #freesoftware nerds. i don't suspect #ie to have it as their main browser

    • Mahefa Randimbisoa Mahefa Randimbisoa

      @eightyeight at some time in the past, I've also used mainly #uzbl.
