@eightyeight Why not?
-
@eightyeight what type of logs?
-
@ehtyar backup logs showing rsync output
-
@eightyeight If it's a simple matter of piping your output through a little something to encrypt it I'd go for it. Otherwise probably not.
-
@ehtyar I'm thinking about it. It is just the overhead of decrypting it when I want to viewit, although I guess that is trivial with mutt.
-
@tedks because of the lack of readability and the work to decrypt it
-
@eightyeight how often do you read those logs?
-
@tedks good point. what about pervious logs? is it worth the effort for about 1600 mails? I wonder if I can script it...
-
@eightyeight "pervious logs"?
speeddefrost likes this. -
@psquid heh, bad swype. yes, that is spelled correctly. :)
-
@eightyeight What are these "pervious logs" you speak of?
-
@speeddefrost p.r.e.v.i.o.u.s.
-
@eightyeight No need to get cranky. I mean, you have nothing to hide, right? ;D
-
@speeddefrost heh, I'm not being cranky, just silly. no, nothing to hide, but why not, and how to encrypt the previous logs?
-
@eightyeight CRANKY TERRORIST! GET HIM!
