  1. Bradley M. Kuhn Bradley M. Kuhn disturbing

    I have had the same plastic travel soap dish, which I use for daily use, since 1991: my entire adult life. It fell & was cracked. !Disturbed

      @bkuhn It had a good innings. Go for liquid soap dispensers you won't have time to get attached.

      @satipera, you clearly don't understand. No one does. My Pretty Neat Soap Dish that I've used with care since 1991 is broken. No one gets it

      @bkuhn Did it own you or did you own it? (Nonetheless, I *do* understand the comfort of the familiar of which one if fond.)

      @bkuhn any soap dish that's been carried and used since 4 years before I was born is obviously special, my condolences D:

      @fontana, yes, quite correct. My clock-radio was the oldest thing I owned (1990). Then my soap dish (1991). I like sameness of old things.

      @vanden, I could make environmental friendliness argument here, but obviously that'd be post-hoc justification. Note this was a $2 soap dish

      @tekk, when you told me your age, in fact, first thing I thought was "my soap dish is older than @tekk". I just bought glue to try to fix it

      I hate "tease" that is "online purchasing of things no longer for sale". There's my soap dish (different color,but same model): ur1.ca/4j6m2

      A Christian school in FL required kindergartners to have a Pretty Neat soap dish like mine for storing crayons: ur1.ca/4j6uf ur1.ca/4j6x4

      @fontana, I agree. I prefer these days to sleep w/ shades open & usually wake up before alarm then. I typically can only do so in hotels.

      @bkuhn I have one of those soap dishes. It's red and I'm barely using it. Want it?

      @benanov, if you are using it at all, don't worry about it. Nice of you to offer. I'm going to attempt to glue mine back together next week.

      @bkuhn I think it currently stores air and takes up space. If your glue operation fails, let me know, it's yours.

      @benanov, soap dish glue operation has failed. Apoxy snapped as soon as I tried to close it again. I'll buy yours if you're still offering.

      @bkuhn still offering.
