@rajitsingh always check for reviews before subscribing any isp. google it.
-
@rajitsingh and avoid any kind of wireless as far as possible. Nothing beats stability & cheapness of wireline.
-
@nileshgr I did google for the reviews, but they were too old. Also, I have too many notebooks at house, a wire line would be impractical.
-
@rajitsingh EDGE or 3G? #Airtel
-
@nj3ma Neither. I'm talking about the home internet connection. My airtel mobile connection works just fine.
-
@rajitsingh Ok. They don't do that in !Kenya. Have to make do with mobile.
-
@rajitsingh get a wireline and share it using a wifi router. That's what I do.
-
@nileshgr Nice idea. But isn't that what my airtel connection is right now?
-
@nileshgr What ISP are you on?
-
@rajitsingh Tata Communications (formerly VSNL). I am recommending against wireless because they cease to provide promised speed.
-
@rajitsingh and of course, charge heavily.
-
@nileshgr I do get good speeds. It's just that I keep getting disconnected and loose connectivity sooo often, that it's unusable.
-
@nileshgr bingo.
