     @opensourcegeek I find the minimalism highlights events more than the surroundings now. it'd be nice with black instead of grey lines though

     @iosefward just re-enabled it to take a 2nd look, its not as bad as I originally thought but it makes the actual calendar area smaller

     @opensourcegeek hadn't noticed that, it's actually just added whitespace causing it as well. going to be a bit of a bugger on the netbook
