@mcastel look at !firefox symlink /usr/bin/firefox ;)
-
@mcastel System -> Preferences -> Preferred Applications -> Web Browser -> Custom -> firefox-3.5 %s
-
@mcastel !ubuntu You could start with "sudo update-alternatives --set x-www-browser /usr/bin/firefox-3.5"

@johncc thanks a lot, it's working! Thanks also to the others who replied ;)
-
@mcastel system->preferences->preferred applications or symlink to /usr/bin/firefox from the 3.5 binary
-
@johncc is it normal than now it appear "Shiretoko" on the top of the browser window?
-
@mcastel sadly yes
-
@mcastel Yeah, that's normal :) It's the project code name. Not sure why the branding is not applied yet.
-
@mcastel is the executable something like firefox-3.5 rather than firefox? If so just go to the menu editor and change the command :)
-
@mcastel I've had no issues from doing so.
-
@johncc thanks ;)
