@urugami: I usually just use wget when it's a simple http stream. And VLC for other things, but the save feature can be a bit tricky.

@urugami streamripper.sf.net can be used. to record radio streams.

@urugami: Just hook up the radio to your soundcard and use something like audacity. Or use VLC with a tuner card

@6925u that's what he does, but Audacity crashes on him. Looking for reliable overnight operation.
