     @warbo @arkblitz I think the point is back compatibility w shell (could be wrong), but with Unity, don't see point. That's New by design.

     @ranamalo @warbo The problem is, the user is accustomed to an interface. And it changes. And it can't be tweaked to its former way.

     @arkblitz Which user? I can tweak the UI of my OS by running apt-get. There are graphical interfaces that do the same thing too. !ubuntu

     @warbo I use both debian for servers and ubu for desktops, but I never use the latest ubu (buggy). You use deb on desktop?

     @ranamalo I use !debian for servers, desktop, laptops and 'phone (my !freerunner ). The Universal OS :D

     @ranamalo @warbo The Classic Desktop will be discontinued for Ubuntu Oneiric. We'll be forced to choose Shell or Unity. Or switch manager.
