@pehjota try Asus M4A78LT-M LE, working fine for me. Not expensive, 2 DDR3 slots...i like it
-
@nmaziashvili Nice, thanks! Does it work with 4+ GiB RAM? Do audio, reboot, etc. work? I'm concerned by ur1.ca/4y0nq and ur1.ca/4y0nr
-
@pehjota aha, i c u want to flash it with coreboot. I have 8G ram installed, audio out of box even suspend works :)
-
@nmaziashvili Oh wow, cool. :) I assume booting a GRUB 2 payload, using ethernet, handling PCI devices, reading/writing with Flashrom work?
-
@pehjota grub2 yes, eth yes, rw flashrom don't know
-
@nmaziashvili Awesome. How did you flash coreboot onto the board's ROM? And is there a way to re-flash original BIOS in case you mess up?
-
@pehjota my apologies if i gave impression that i flashed it with coreboot, i was admiring ur courage :) i run original bios
-
@pehjota but i did flash Sony Vaio Z12 bios with custom one and know for a fact that you can flash it back to original.
-
@pehjota Although warranty expires immediately.
-
@nmaziashvili Oh, OK. Yeah, I was asking how well everything worked with coreboot, haha. No problem, and thanks anyway.
-
@nmaziashvili Right, good point. Heh, I wish manufacturers would hurry up and sell boards pre-flashed with coreboot. Same time & money, too.

Ordered an ASUS M4A785T-M mobo for my server. Not yet supported by #coreboot, but I may port it next year (should be easy). cc @nmaziashvili
