      @avlas So far I had to remove a bunch of old X display drivers or else it wouldn't upgrade. Oh, and awesome WM had some dep causing problems

      @avlas Now it seems ttf-mscorefonts-installer won't go past the HTTP proxy dialog. Pressing OK just brings it back up !kubuntu #oneiric

      @avlas Oh dear. I had to ctrl-c out of the installer since it wouldn't go forward and now my system is in some weird state :D

      @avlas After deleting a bunch of lock files and killing the mscorefonts installer dpkg --configure -a worked fine. Let's see if this works..

      @avlas OK. The hanging process was called "whiptail". Killing it when ttf-mscorefonts-installer asks for a proxy it works. !kubuntu #oneiric
