   @hook do you use ippi with jitsi? the client is #java and has poor integr. with desktop. is #skype support comming to !telepathy?

     @whilo: I use Ippi with #QuteCom now. I couldn't manage to get it to work in !Telepathy yet. Dunno about #Skype, I don't use it.

     @whilo: Em, too be exact: I tested #SIP on !KDE !Telepathy. Dunno if it is any better on #Empathy.

     @hook ok, i have tested #sip with #jitsi and #linphone, both work. i haven't tested skype with them yet. does !telepathy work for you?

     @whilo: I don't use #Skype anyway. I tried #SIP + !KDE !Telepathy (which is *very* alpha) and it doesn't connect.

     @whilo FYI: Some SIP client projects have added support for the SILK codec (used by Skype), but none have any support for the Skype protocol
