@bjwebb I dunno about exim or what exactly you're trying to do, but maybe with /etc/aliases (see aliases(5) manpg) - or is that postfix only

@freezombie I wanna receive mail for non-system users, but separately (not alias). Not sure which mailer would be best to use. #libreapps

@tdobson Hadn't seen that. Not really of any use to me atm, but looks interesting. Hooray for open platforms like #laconica

@bjwebb he does not make sensible points IMHO! :) if laconica was Eclipse or apache licenced i can bet that that lacnica addon wouldnt exist

@tdobson Article may have been OTT, but many projects choose against GPL. Don't you think people release free software w/o being forced to?

@bjwebb oh absolutely, free software advocates definitely do. But would linksys have released the WRT54G firmware without coercion?

@bjwebb do you think codeweavers would still sponsor a full time WINE dev if it went back to being MIT licenced?

@bjwebb do you think Microsoft would have still released linux kernel source for hyperV if it hadnt been in violation of the GPL?

@tdobson From a pragmatic pov the GPL works well for some and permissive for others. My reasons for not liking GPL are based on my morals.

@tdobson For each of those, there may be a case where the incompatibity or the legal bother of the GPL has prevented something beneficial.
